Our Story
Introducing the dynamic K-pop trio, B-Girls—featuring Berklee vocalists Christine, Bronwyn, and Sofia. Formed in the spring of 2024, the group honed their skills individually in their home countries over the summer before uniting as a powerhouse team. B-Girls are inspired by the trailblazing 90s K-pop girl groups like S.E.S. and FIN.K.L., and their mission is to reimagine that legacy with a fresh take. Expect electrifying remixes and original tracks that blend nostalgic 90s vibes with a modern Gen Z flair.

Christine Lee
Singer/Dancer
My name is Christine Lee and I am a student at Berklee College of Music majoring in Music Business and Songwriting. For a short period of my life I was able to study as a k-pop trainee in Korean Entertainment companies. Therefore singing and dancing has always been a strong passion of mind aside from songwriting. I find the project very important to me as this is my opportunity to perform k-pop live in front of an audience. Through this new project I hope to benefit the group with my skills and can't wait to perform 90s k-pop at Berklee College of Music.
Soi Ian Veronica Leong
Singer/Dancer
My name is Soi Ian Veronica Leong, and I’m a 4th-semester Music Business/Management major with a deep passion for K-pop music and dance. As someone with a background in singing and dancing, K-pop has become one of my favorite forms of art to perform, allowing me to express and share the unique emotions it conveys. During my time at Berklee, I’ve joined two dance crews, where I often perform K-pop dance covers, helping to spread awareness of these amazing choreographies. Beyond my passion for performing, I am also deeply interested in the business side of the K-pop industry, focusing on areas such as management, legal aspects, and music publishing. It is such an honor to have had the opportunity to perform classics from 90s K-pop, and I look forward to future performances.
Bronwyn Shae Zoppelt
Singer/Dancer
Bronwyn Shae Zoppelt is an artist, singer, songwriter, and dancer currently attending Berklee College of Music! She is a songwriting major in her third semester at Berklee. Her love for K-pop started when she found a dance practice video by a group called BTS. Every dance move they hit was together and exact. Then, when the group was on stage, they did it while singing. Not only does she enjoy the music itself, but she was so happy to find groups that consistently prioritized dancing just as much as their voices. Ever since that discovery, she participated in several dance workshops and K-pop events, including Berklee's K-pop and Beyond. She is so honored to participate in this event and to be able to learn and grow along the way. She is thankful for everyone involved running the event and for all the support!
Sofia Shkidchenko
Singer/Dancer
I'm Sofia Shkidchenko, a Ukrainian singer-songwriter. I love exploring different genres of music and I got into Kpop when I was around 12. Before that I hated taking dance classes, but after watching Kpop choreographies I started enjoying this type of workout. And the songs helped me widen my music interests. As we keep coming back to retro concepts, this project is a fun refreshing time travel to the 90s.
